Our recent concert to raise funds for the New Heli Appeal was a roaring success in several ways … it was a feast of music for everyone to enjoy with contributions from our guests Celtic Male Ensemble which shook the rafters of Carnon Downs Chapel, a rousing hymn with our wonderful accompanist Rico Gerber at the organ, humorous  anecdotes from compère Sid Deeble, and the Ladies Choir in very fine voice. The Chapel was packed and the audience was most generous, being rewarded with a hugely entertaining, though incredibly hot, evening and a vast supper provided by The Ladies who bake as beautifully as they sing!

The outcome was glowing praise from the audience and an amazing £1000 which we can present to The Cornwalll Air Ambulance New Hel Appeal.

It feels remarkably good to be doing something you really love, sharing with other talented and like-minded musicians, making people happy and raising a load of cash for a vital and worthy cause. Thank you so much to those who took part, those who organised and those who supported.  Proper Job!
