Our latest Charity fundraising concert was a resounding success, musically, socially and financially. So much so that we presented ANOTHER cheque for £1000!,  this time to the Cornwall Down’s Syndrome Support Group.

Pictured above are members of the choir at their practice on Thursday March 30th with President Thelma together with choir member Audrey, (in the pink scarf) her grandson Jayden and his parents, Paul and Sandra, representing the charity.

Jayden has ambitions to be our accompanist!

We realise that our contribution will make a difference to the lives of those local people who rely on the support of this amazing group. We are tremendously grateful to those good folk who continue to encourage the  choir by coming to concerts, giving raffle prizes, helping out and digging deep into their pockets. Any project like this is a joint venture and lots of people should be very proud of this tremendous result.

So on we go to our next concert, fundraising for Marie Curie – only 8 weeks to go!   Why not join us there?
