Yesterday the choir took part in their first Christmas event – the Carol service at the Methodist chapel, Stithians.
St Stythians male voice choir, local youth groups, the choir and handbell ringers from the village school also made lovely contributions and the assembled congregation made a fine, rousing sound in the community carols.
There was a real community feel to this event and many folks stayed for a chat and welcome refreshments afterwards. The Ladies were particularly pleased to be part of this annual event in this their 50th anniversary year – this being the building where the choir was founded and which housed their first practice room.
We are now looking forward to the next Christmas event which is a community concert as guests of Holman- Climax Male Voice Choir on 16th December at Camborne Science and International Academy. The concert starts at 7pm.
See you there?
