The Choir celebrates a spectacular win
at the Camborne Music Festival.
Last night we entered the Advanced Ladies Choir class, the first time we had done so for quite a while. We were up against the tough, highly experienced opposition of Mabe Ladies Choir and Camborne Ladies Choir and all the choirs sang their hearts out. By the narrowest of margins Sithians Ladies won the class as well as a couple of extra trophies. The Ladies worked extremely hard in order to reach this high standard and are to be congratulated on their determination and effort. Special mention should be made of the three brand new ladies who learnt the music in record time and were thrust into the Deep End … Stithians Ladies are fearless!
The CMF Shield for Ladies Choir – Advanced
The Margaret Reynolds Memorial Baton, presented by Mabe Ladies Choir
For the ladies choir obtaining the highest aggregate mark in the Festival
The Marlene Doe Memorial Cup
Awarded to the single best performance in the advanced ladies choir class.

We sang The Mighty Power of God, Weep O Mine Eyes, a new piece learnt specially for the occasion and one of our favourites Whenever I’m Here With You. Here are some photos, courtesy of Linda’s niece Zoe and staunch supporter Anne.
Thank you to the people who came to support us, it was indeed a very Grand Night For Singing!

What a great celebration for our 50th Anniversary. Well done to all the choir and special thanks to Bea and Rico. You both inspire us.
